About Me

Hi, I’m Deedy Macleod—a dedicated family woman, tax preparer, and accounting professional with a passion for helping individuals and small businesses manage their finances with confidence. My journey in accounting started after a career shift from healthcare, where I spent over 15 years caring for others. This experience shaped my commitment to integrity, diligence, and service—values I now bring into my work as a tax and accounting professional.

I earned my Associate’s Degree in Accounting and continue to expand my expertise in tax preparation. I currently work in the accounting department of a large commercial electric company while also running Deedy’s Tax Service, where I specialize in assisting small business owners, including sole proprietors, with tax preparation, and financial planning.

As someone who understands the challenges of running a business, I believe in providing clear, honest, and practical financial guidance. Whether it’s organizing records, maximizing deductions, or ensuring compliance, I strive to make taxes less overwhelming for my clients.

Beyond my professional life, family is at the heart of everything I do. I cherish time with my husband, kids, grandkids—Brayden, Sophia, Isabella, and of course my beautiful dog Molly—and enjoy balancing my work with quality family moments. When I’m not crunching numbers, you’ll likely find me at the gym, hiking, camping, enjoying a getaway to the beach, or waiting for the next vacation with my husband.
